Dr. Larscheid is a general Ophthalmologist who has a wide range of experience in treating many different medical and surgical diseases of the eye. He provides a variety of routine eye care services and is a highly skilled surgeon. Dr Larscheid has performed nearly 1,000 cataract surgeries and is also experienced in other laser and surgical treatments of the eye including LASIK. He has many happy cataract and LASIK patients who are enjoying a better quality of life thanks to their improved vision.

After graduating from Creighton University School Of Medicine in Omaha, NE, Dr. Larscheid went on to complete his Ophthalmology residency in 2002 at the University Of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Following residency, he served as the director of the Diabetic Screening Clinic at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.

Dr Larscheid has been practicing Ophthalmology in Southern California for the past four years and continues to provide friendly, comprehensive eye care at the Southland Eye clinic in Fountain Valley, CA. He is a California licensed surgeon and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Having grown up in the Midwest, Dr. Larscheid appreciates the beautiful climate and many outdoor activities Southern California has to offer. He enjoys various activities on both land and sea including sailing, surfing, golf, bicycling, hiking and traveling.
