Dr. Ryan Larscheid is a Board Certified General Ophthalmologist with a wide range of experience in treating many different medical and surgical conditions of the eye. He provides comprehensive eye care services including diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma and dry eye. Dr. Larscheid is also an accomplished surgeon who has performed thousands of cataract surgeries. He is experienced with the latest vision correcting lens implants and has many happy cataract patients who are enjoying freedom from glasses and a better quality of life thanks to their improved vision.

After graduating from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE, Dr. Larscheid went on to complete his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Following his residency, he served as the director of the Diabetic Screening Clinic at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Larscheid is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a California licensed eye surgeon. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

When he is not busy taking care of patients, Dr. Larscheid enjoys playing with his two young sons and sharing experiences with them in the beautiful Southern California climate. He and his family enjoy many outdoor activities on both land and sea including sailing, surfing, golf, bicycling, hiking and traveling.
